The ongoing Ukraine War is the first war in which two non-rational factors have become so powerful that they may have become collectively and permanently dominant in our world.
The first factor is TV Fake News (24/7) which does a great job controlling the daily Public Consciousness (or Social Consciousness) [as the philosopher Georg Friedrich Wilhelm Hegel (1770-1831) described that which controls the Philosophically Rooted Faithful Beliefs that Inform and Motivate society on a full-time basis].
Since Rush Limbaugh died, even conservative Talk Radio cannot escape the daily agenda of the Evil Scumbag Press. If they want you to obsess on the Ukraine War, you will obsess on the Ukraine War – unless you are as much of a Social Misfit as I am.
I have not been able to watch TV at home since the Analog signal converted to Digital during George W. Bush’s disastrous administration. I consider that change a positive. I have not read newspapers for many, many years. As I wrote in an earlier essay on this site back in 2019 – the uniform Fake News Media’s perpetual censorship of the Jumpers from 9/11 ended any trust I might have had in their integrity prior to that date.
For days after 9/11, I watched Fire Engines race downtown from my living room. They came from everywhere – not only out-of state. They even came from Canadian cities. (I think I even saw Green such vehicles.)
Over the course of several subsequent months, I would many times walk downtown to try to see Ground Zero. Tall wooden walls had been constructed to block the view for many, many weeks. Once I got south of Canal Street – at least a half-mile or more north of Ground Zero, the smell of dead bodies was unmistakable and more than just unpleasant. (I have been told that during World War II that smell was pervasive and permanent over many parts of Europe.)
Most days I scan through Breitbart News on a tablet for an hour or two. I try to listen to Conservative Talk Radio sometimes but almost every half-hour there is up to five minutes of disgusting Left-Wing Fake News blurbs. (That even existed on local radio when I would listen to Rush Limbaugh.)
The second factor has surreptitiously also come to dominate the Public Consciousness. Even in Breitbart News there is a plethora of articles (which I never read) detailing the latest Celebrity Moral Judgment – Positive or Negative – of a glorified Celebrity moron with a fan base of lesser morons who need a celebrity to tell them what to believe is an important political and moral judgment for the day – along with the appropriate clichés to repeat and sound ‘smart’ to the other morons who are a little behind the ‘learning curve’ of ‘Talking Points.’ It seems like the waiting room of almost every medical office I ever go to is obligated to have a television set broadcasting The View. (At such infrequent times, I pray to become deaf to escape the continually insulting Left-Wing Fatuities.)
There never was a Fake TV News war that extended for month after month dominating the Public Consciousness that so perfectly was coordinated with this second factor – that of the many CELEBRITY A$$HOLES (CA).
Every CELEBRITY A$$HOLE has found an outlet for Publicly Performed Hatred while the rest of the world and the Financial System is being destroyed with little or no attention paid.
Born during World War II, I was raised and educated to believe that every American was ‘entitled to express his own opinion.’
Nothing could be more out-of-step today. Join the World-Wide Left-Wing Tribes – or go into hiding like me.
Today’s world is a series of TV dramatic performances for ‘the naive, the gullible, the weak-willed and the stupid’ to believe and reiterate.
To me, today’s Boogerman (V. Putin) is far less Evil and dangerous than innumerable others. To me, the UK Military Intelligence and National Security State [the folks who gave the world the Fraudulent Steele Dossier and participated in Operation Crossfire Hurricane] have proven themselves to my satisfaction as a far greater (and unchecked) force for Evil in this world. They can’t find Evil in the Terrorist Iranian Revolutionary Guard. They can’t find Evil in the Chinese Communist Party. They can’t even find Evil in the UK-headquartered Terrorist Muslim Brotherhood whose innumerable derivatives give the world Sunni Jihadists – not just the architects of 9/11.
[They do a great job of running the Pro-Ukrainian anti-Putin propaganda war for over a year now. British War Propaganda is the Gold Standard of War Propaganda. (I have even come to question the legitimacy of the ‘Zimmerman Telegram’ that brought the USA into World War I months after Woodrow Wilson was re-elected President in November 1916 on a campaign slogan of ‘He kept Us Out of War!’)]
