The New Twenty-First Century “Scientific” Hippocratic Oath

S. T. Levin News & Notes 0 0
  1. Make sure payment is guaranteed up front. (Collection service can be a ‘pain in the ass.’)
  2. Maximize pharmaceutical prescriptions for every patient.
  3. Always sacrifice the Quality of Life for every patient to maximize Longevity. Do not volunteer this information.  Caveat emptor.
  4. Never let elective surgical patients know that the surgical ‘improvement’ may be short-lived at the expense of faster, greater deterioration in the intermediate and longer term of life – THIS IS CRITICAL.
  5. Today’s medical protocols universally promote probabilities of effectiveness. If there is a 70% degree of effectiveness of pharmaceutical, surgical or other forms of treatment – it is irrelevant whether the unimproved 30% are or are not negatively affected.  You have followed the Medical Protocols, therefore, you are liability-free from damaging or even killing the patient from not only ‘side-effects’ but also other deleterious consequences.
  6. The original Hippocrates’ ‘FIRST DO NO HARM’ has long since expired.

Did you fake taking the Oath in Medical School?

Addendum:  As someone who has had to pay privately (by check)for my own insurance since 1975, I can attest to the fact that, in the dozens of time that the state or federal government gets involved in ‘fixing’ the medical system, everything becomes more expensive, less reliable, less efficient and less rational.  [If you are a college-indoctrinated voter, you will turn to the progressive political fraud community (Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, etc.) to be verbally reassured with the new set of fraudulent political nostrums!]
